some things about RUNESCAPE!!!!
RuneScape is a fantasy massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) released in January 2001 by Andrew and Paul Gower,[2] and developed by Jagex Ltd. It is a graphical browser game implemented on the client-side in Java, and incorporates 3D rendering. The game has approximately 10 million active accounts, over 130 million registered accounts,[3] and is recognised by the Guinness World Records as the world's most popular free MMORPG.[4]
RuneScape takes place in the world of Gielinor, a medieval fantasy realm divided into different kingdoms, regions, and cities.[5][6] Players can travel throughout Gielinor on foot, through use of magical teleportation spells and devices, and via numerous other methods, such as charter ships.[7] Each region offers different types of monsters, resources, and quests to challenge players. The game's fictional universe has also been explored through a tie-in video game on its maker's other website, FunOrb, Armies of Gielinor,[8] and a novel, Betrayal at Falador.[9]
Players are represented in the game with customisable avatars. RuneScape does not follow a linear storyline; rather, players set their own goals and objectives. Players can choose to fight non-player character (NPC) monsters, complete quests, or increase their experience in the available skills.[10] Players interact with each other through trading, chatting, or by participating in mini-games and activities, some of which are competitive or combative in nature, while others require cooperative or collaborative play. The first public version of RuneScape was released on 4 January 2001 in beta form,[2] and in December 2001, Jagex was formed to manage the game.[11] As the game's popularity grew, the game engine was rewritten, and its beta was opened to paying players on 1 December 2003 under the name "RuneScape 2". It was renamed RuneScape upon its stable release on 29 March 2004.[12]

Dungeoneering is a skill released by Runescape on the 12th April, 2010. This skill is open to both free-to-play players and members and requires players to explore a castle in Daemonheim. You will earn dungeoneering experience from completing the castle, which involves:
Getting started
What you need
To do Dungeoneering, you need nothing! So before you play, you must bank all your items! The only thing that you may keep is the Ring of Kinship and the Orb of oculus. Once you go into the dungeon, armour, weapons, and foodwill be provided on tables. You may also trade with a smuggler who sells basic equipment and tools.
Things to keep in mind
- If you are in a party, everyone you say in public chat will be heard by your fellow party members, no matter how far away you are from them.
- Dropped items do not vanish
- If you die, you will be able to continue with the items you had when you died. You will restart in the room with the smuggler.
- You are able to look at the inventory, stats and the worn items of the players in your party using your Ring of Kinship
- You can 'bind' items to yourself, the number of items you are allowed to bind depends on your dungeoneeringlvl (1 item allowed at lvl 1, 2 items at lvl 2, 3 items at lvl 100 and 4 at lvl 120). You are also allowed to bind one type of arrow or rune (up to 125). Your bound items will always appear in your starting inventory everytime to dungeoneer.
- Some bosses are more difficult to defeat. ( e.g The boos Gluttonous Behemoth eats nearby carcasses, so players need to stand infront of them to prevent it from eating)
Rewards
After you finish a dungeon, you will get a window come up that sums up what you did for that dungeon. At the bottom, it will display the total exp earned and the number of tokens will be given to you based on that (e.g 300 xp = 30 tokens)
You can use these tokens to purchase xp and weapons (e.g law staff)
